"After much anxiety about which product to get and which product did what, I decided on this one. I needn't have worried as it was literally plug it in, connect and go - excellent, simple instructions and excellent performance. Does exactly what I want - records programmes to watch later, rather than records onto dvds, which I didn't want.

"this product is amazing you can record 2 channels at once, it has series link and even has games on it. it's so simple to use. one of my fave features is you can skip the adverts on a recorded button using a separate button rather than the fast forward you can alter the length of time this button skips i find that 2 pushes at the longest setting usually covers the uk ad breaks. you can also instant replay upto 30 secs."

"This is a good pvr,however since the changeover to only digital signals the EPG does not generate as well as it used to.This is my only criticism and is probably more the fault of the transmitter"

"I have only had this product for a couple of weeks and hopefully it will last longer than my first Humax TV recorder (9 months) and the three different make replacements I have had in the last three months. It still jumps and skips on playback just like the old one did at the same place in the same programme with all other recordings being fine, wierd. Overall it is a good machine and easy to use with useful features like the advert skip button. It is also very quick to react to a press of any button unlike other makes which can take up to 30 seconds to react. If this Humax lasts for more than a year I would recommend it."
