the interface is clunky and old-fashioned
the remote has to be directly in line to work (some people have taken the case apart to shave off some plastic!)
the led on the front is far too bright and annoying
the manual is very basic and you have to resort to trial and error to make sure it works as expected
there are no phono sockets on the back to plug into a stereo-you have to use a scart adapter"

"I was worried about buying this when I read the other reviews but on the whole it's a decent little box. Yes, the remote isn't great, you basically have to point it straight at the box, but I sit right in front of it anyway so that's not a big deal. Aside from that the EPG is quite nice and a lot of the features are very similar to a Sky+ box so if you can use one of those you can use this."

"This set is good value when compared with Sky’s subscriptions cost. It is easy to install. The main issue that I have is the Program Guide and Library listings; these are not very clear compared with most units that I have used."
