"When I bought this I thought it was amazing as I could record all my favourite programmes and pause live TV!
Sadly as time has gone on it has got really slow, I think especially since the digital update.
It takes ages to load when turned on.
It takes ages to load the library of recordings and when you select a recording that also takes a long time to load. My library is only about a 3rd full so think it might come to a complete standstill if you were to try and use the full capacity.
When forwarding a recording to cut out the adverts it doesn't always stop forwarding when you press play and before you know it you find yourself almost at the end of the programme and then when you try to rewind the same thing happens!
Also recently the channels have started to dip out and the screen reads something like this channel is not available, the only way to remedy this is to switch it off and load it up again.
It's a shame it doesn't work too well as it was a good price and is really easy to use.
I want to return my box, but I still have lots of recorded programmes to watch, some of which I wanted to keep - so not really sure what to do!"

"All the features are absolutely fine and fit what I wanted but I have to return it purely because it has a lot of trouble responding to button presses - on at least 3 occasions it has got stuck on fast forward and I've had to wait until it fast forwards through the entire programme before I can carry on watching and get back to where I was. About half the time it will take around 10 seconds to respond to a button press, and the most irritating aspect is that it remembers all the button presses you've made in the 10 seconds that it wasn't responding and then carries them all out at once. It's a real shame because apart from that one element it would be just what I needed."

"This unit was bought for an elderly relative to plug into her 32" CRT type (yes 32 inch) mono TV......it was easy to set up and use, a very good picture on the old set and she has only phoned up once for help, so far so good.
Only drawback is it can be a bit slow with some of the commands from the handset, but you get used to it after a while.....better than some other units, if she has any more problemns I will leave the phone off the hook!!!"
