"Being old and cunning I decided not to throw my old analogue TV's away but to convert them to digital. After a little research I settled on this box of tricks. It seemed to be very reasonably priced for what it promised. I ensured that my son would be on hand to help with what would obviously be a difficult set up. My first surprise was the size of the unit....it was so small and light that the Scart lead tries to drag it off the set top! BluTac to the rescue! My second surprise was that I plugged it in and switched it on and it did everything automatically, in under 5 minutes we have gone from a 5 channel telly to a multi channel Freeview TV and Radio - true Plug and Play!! This bit of kit is unbelievable and I recommend it to anyone!"

"Bought this to replace an old freeview box that belonged to my housemate. Even though it's 4 years newer it picked up fewer channels and the ones that it did get were choppy at best. For the record I was using this box on a brand new aerial and cable my landlord had installed. I chose this over cheaper boxes available but I was not impressed. The EPG and menus are an awful (in my opinion) combination of bright blue rounded squares with white text. While lacking in beauty the menu system was easy to operate. I found the remote buttons to be very small so anyone with large fingers will probably hit many buttons at once as I often did.
Other than that this is a well-made and very small freeview unit that does the basics. I paid a bit more for a good brand but it was not for me. I hope the box I was given was a one-off and others will not have the same signal issues but unfortunately I cannot recommend it for not doing it's primary function well enough."

"I purchased this to go in my Sons room, for his 9th Birthday. It is so simple to set up & use, it even has 2 scart sockets, making it easy to link up a video or dvd player too.
The system allows you to set Parental Controls so he can't see anything he shouldn't.
From opening the box it took less than 15 minutes to set up - parental controls included.
Excellent value for money."
