Suboptimal quality

"Bought this for the bedroom. The picture quality was average. However...
1) If you press into the screen it caved in at one corner - poor production and poor quality control
2) The packaging was substandard. It looks as though it was packaged specially for agos - ? authenticity
3) unlike other major tv brands I have used, the functions are not great e.g. when you have the electronic tv programme up, the current channel view would disappear, leaving you with a quiet, black background which I personally do not like; it seems to take longer to flick through channels. It doesn't quite compare to the other models I have used before.
4) same comment as another customer - the plastic material of this telly seems to attract dust and it doesn't come off easily no matter how hard you clean it!
Disappointed for a Hitachi product. I would not recommend it."

"Good picture with lots of adjustment, and unlike many TVs today, good sound also. Built in DvD works well, one handset, one power lead, one aerial lead, neat and dead easy to setup. Hitachi quality at a great price, ideal for the smaller room. There's nothing really to dislike - just buy one and see for yourself."

"Bought this TV for my mums 80th birthday and what a fantastic product. The picture quality is very sharp and sounds fantastic only took 10 mins to set up.As an 80 year old and not very technophobic my mum found it very simple to use and is delighted with the TV. I may even buy one for our bedroom what more can I say excellent."
