"This set is not LED as described, but is LCD with an LED back light. As supplied the picture is over bright and gaudy technicolor . It took me half an hour to get an acceptable colour display. The sound quality is very tinny, and to date I have not been able to improve this much. None of the picture size presets exactly fit the screen and there is no manual adjustment option."

Okay TV for the kitchen

"On the plus side the picture on the TV is okay and it can be seen clearly from many angles. The sound from the speakers is okay for a small TV.
After a couple of months the slight niggles with our TV that would stop me recommending it are: a slightly irritating clicking noise even when in standby; the TV doesn't always turn off when pressing the power button on the remote; and on a couple of occasions the TV lost all the channels and had to be retuned (this was long after the Freeview switchover had finished). It seems as though the clicking noise on other LED TV sets is related to faulty capacitors that may need replacing in the future (search 'LED TV clicking'). However, as long as the TV continues to work the clicking noise in a kitchen is just a minor irritation but I can imagine that in a bedroom it would be considerably more irritating."

"Easy to set up once we'd worked out how to put the stand on.
I would have liked a quick start leaflet that usually is included. Instructions could be better ordered, but we trusted our instincts and it worked well and colours good.

We are 'elderly' and find the remote control very fiddly - the buttons are the smallest we've ever had!
We like to use the TV for the BBC World Service - we would like to be able to seitch off the screen but keep the loud speakers on!"
