"Bought this tv for the caravan, being a Sony fan set it up and there was a problem with sound missing words out, took it back and argos replaced it , set new one up and low and behold same problem , researched on internet and found that this problem is common, in the process o f returning second one"

Great purchase, shame about the sound problem

"The picture is as clean as a whistle and is the usual quality of a brand name product. I did however have a problem with the sound....I hooked my DVD and Satellite box up via HDMI but the sound dropped for about 1 second at intermittent times on both. I figured that it had to be the TV because nothing else had changed and everything worked previously on my old HDTV. I went to the Sony website and found a firmwear update, applied it and all is good. It took Sony 5 days to answer my problem and eventually they told me to try the firmwear update, or take it back to the shop! Thanks a lot Sony! Argos however are brilliant! The product only gets 4 stars because of the firmwear issue, but you can't have everything, where would you put it ;)"

"This is the second Sony 32 inch HD ready LCD TV we have purchased - my son had one for Christmas 2010 and unfortunately it sufferered a fatal accident! Given the choice of any other TV on the market he chose to replace with the same one! Says it all."
