"Hitachi 32 Inch Full HD 1080p Edge-Lit LED Interne
I bought for its smart technology but so far have been unable to connect directly to the internet, Catalogue description did not mention that special device (dongle) is necessary to make this connection wirelessly. I now have one but so far have only been able to connect to my computer to view photos but no internet. Disappointed in technical support which so far has been no help. The manual is no help either and consistently refers to the set as LCD when it is advertised as LED which suggests that it is a carelessly amended book for a different model."

"Great value set.
Positives: Extremely easy set up for TV, laptop and games consoles. Easy to access menu with user friendly instructions. Great overall picture quality
Negatives: poor sound, only digital sound output had to purchase digital to analogue convertor to run through external speakers. Though it has internet input - there are no internet features available on TV as of yet though it does link up to laptop/pc very easily"

"A Hitachi should be good. We've found the L32VG08 somewhat disappointing, alas.
First off, it takes a long time to warm up, then wanders off deciding which input to show - the direct TV or the digital box (SCART1) or the Video (SCART2) - and often refuses to to respond to an instruction from the remote to output the correct source. This just results in a blank screen, with snippets from the source you actually want.
Similarly, just telling it to turn Off is not quite as simple as it should be; after one has pressed the Power Off, it may well continue to cycle round, looking for something else to display until you tell it to go to a particular TV setting and then press Off again.
The sound has an impressive number of settings, but the speakers are of too low a quality to respond. Bass is near to non-existent, so anything with music is thin and unbalanced. Some frequencies come through far louder than others, whatever the settings, which can be very annoying."
