BUT THEN I PUT A DVD INTO THE MACHINE AND IT MADE AN AWFUL NOISE , THOUGHT IT WAS GOING TO EXPLODE .
SO NOW GOING TO TAKE THE WHOLE THING BACK , IT WAS MY SON S BIRTHDAY PRESENT SO NOT VERY HAPPY ."
I was warned about the poor sound on these new thin TVs so I invested in extra speakers. But, I did not need them. With a bit of tweaking of the sound on the menu it was fine. I also tweaked the picture to make it less bright.
I have had it for about a month and am very pleased. The football is great on it. My video player works fine with the scart socket. DVDs are a bit tricky to get out but I have mastered it."
