This product may not do what you hope it will

"Laptop in one room, stereo in the other, wifi throughout the house. I just wanted to be able to send music from the laptop to the stereo and control it via my I pod. If you read the apple web site or Argos catalogue this should be easy. It's not. I was taken through a confusing set up which I only had one chance at thanks to the software and I am quite good at this stuff but it was not simple and you would need to know about networking to set this up. The instructions are terrible also. Best bet is to get the remote app on my I pod and move the laptop to my stereo, this works perfectly well and is free."
