solid & sturdy

"My grandson "borrowed" my original charging/syncing cable for my I Pod classic.
I replaced it with a cheap copy. Worked OK for a while until grandson borrowed this one. I got it back on this occasion but I Pod immediately went belly up when trying to add new music or sync with PC.
Felt I Pod might be about to expire but thought it worth investing in a decent cable just in case and to have a spare for what I thought might be a new (necessary) Classic.
Everything seems to work fine now. the Belkin cable is "strong" looking and has a feel of quality. The only reason for not giving it 5 stars is slight doubt that problem still might be with I Pod - it is a bit long in the tooth."
