Apple iPod Classic 160GB - Black. 4.8 5 258 300
Simply the best With the capacity to hold a massive 40,000 songs this is the iPod for the serious music fan. All the features you'd expect but this is all about capacity. Take your entire music collection wherever you go! Like all Apple products the price is always top end but you either love Apple or hate them but you can't deny the quality of either the design or the finish. 26 August 2014
Simple but great! Can't comment on battery life yet as haven't had item long enough. Brilliant product. 31 July 2014

Excellent media centre I have over the years had many different media devices. This is by far the best. Easy to understand and use. Superb audio quality and although a relatively small screen good quality visual playback. Overall money well spent. 22 July 2014

Hi Gordy,
I have looked into this for you and can advise that it is not possible to remove the EU volume lock, as Apple produce EU released devices with this to conform to regulations.

Answer:
Hi Wong, yes, you can put your own music on this iPod. Firstly download the latest version of iTunes onto your computer, then either transfer your personal music from CDs or other devices to the iTunes Library, or you can download free or paid music from the Internet. (It doesn't have to come from the Apple Website). Drag song tracks from your PC music folder into the iTunes Library. Connect up your iPod to your computer and it will recognise your iPod Library and copy the music accordingly.

Answer:
7th generation does not exist - I have this info directly from Apple. The 6th generation had a few 'upgrades' which some stores are calling 7th gen but essentially it's 6th gen upgraded. Apple no longer do ipod classic - again I know this as I bought one from an apple store, it wasn't working and today when I took it back they no longer stock so I got a refund. therefore if you want one, get it quick!

Answer:
Thank you for your question.

The Apple iPod Classic 160GB - Black will allow your husband to transfer tracks onto the device and listen to them whenever. In regards to .wav files, they will need to be added to a iTunes library and converted to either MP3 or AAC and then transferred to the iPod.

Answer:
Thank you for your question.

I can confirm that the Apple iPod Classic 160GB ? Black will work with a Bose Sound dock as long as the device either has a 30 pin dock connector or an AUX input. If you would like further assistance, please post a Q&A with the model number of the sound dock that you have so I can look into this for you.

Thank you for using Argos Q&A.
