Apple iPod Classic 160GB - Black. 4.8 5 254 296
Simple but great! Can't comment on battery life yet as haven't had item long enough. Brilliant product. 31 July 2014
Excellent media centre I have over the years had many different media devices. This is by far the best. Easy to understand and use. Superb audio quality and although a relatively small screen good quality visual playback. Overall money well spent. 22 July 2014
Worth spending hi, I bought my classic 160GB a few weeks back and am really very happy with its excellent sound quality and a huge space for storing music. My entire albums are being dragged into it so all in one. The only thing I really dont like about it is the limitation of supportive file format. Unfortunately, it doesnt support flac file so wav is the alternate option for lossless files (for me). overall excellent !! 08 July 2014
Not sure yet I have loaded 1700 tracks and on its second charge the battery gives conflicting info when plugged in it reads full when cable out it reads only quarter full so not sure at the mo.. Customer service on purchase good 29 July 2014
Best Purchase EVER! Fantastic product, I've loaded all my CD's onto it and still have barely scratched the surface of the space it has! I wasn't sure at first whether it had a shuffle function as this isn't made clear anywhere but it definitely does, sound quality is fantastic and although it's the larger of the ipod range it's still small enough to slip into a pocket or handbag when on the move! Amazing! 27 July 2014

Hi - given that it uses a hard drive, is the classic suitable for use during eg fast walking/jogging or will it be liable to interrupted playback? I have an older model which seems a bit unreliable when I am moving about - playback stops or pauses. Are the newer models liable to that? Thanks.

Answer:
Hi Gordy,
I have looked into this for you and can advise that it is not possible to remove the EU volume lock, as Apple produce EU released devices with this to conform to regulations.

Answer:
Hi Wong, yes, you can put your own music on this iPod. Firstly download the latest version of iTunes onto your computer, then either transfer your personal music from CDs or other devices to the iTunes Library, or you can download free or paid music from the Internet. (It doesn't have to come from the Apple Website). Drag song tracks from your PC music folder into the iTunes Library. Connect up your iPod to your computer and it will recognise your iPod Library and copy the music accordingly.

Answer:
Thank you for your question.

The Apple iPod Classic 160GB - Black will allow your husband to transfer tracks onto the device and listen to them whenever. In regards to .wav files, they will need to be added to a iTunes library and converted to either MP3 or AAC and then transferred to the iPod.

Thank you for using Argos Q&A.
