"The other reviews are correct - Time is too small to read in the dark and I have to turn the display away from me as the blue light glares. I notice that the picture has changed. As the time took up the whole window in the picture when I purchased the radio, which it clearly does not. In addition to this though the alarm which is SET TO RADIO always comes on bleeping rather than the radio and I hate waking to bleeping. After I press snooze it comes back on after snooze time with the radio. I set the sound to quite low as I wake easily but it always comes on much louder. This annoys my husband who likes to get up after me. The second alarm is brilliant for this though. The radio itself has a good sound and I can cope with the display being small and the light being bright. It is very good value for money which is the only reason that I have not returned it. As it takes batteries as well as mains it will still work if the power goes off - this is a big plus for me."

"Value for money - probably fine.
I find the small display a nuisance, especially when trying to read the time - need me glasses!! Took a little while to work out the instructions, and also to find the local DAB radio station, but now finding it okay."
