"Bought this laptop for for Daughter who's studying graphical design and animation. She finds the graphics to be above spec and ideal for her advanced needs. Additionally the performance of the laptop in general is excellent, and the price was the icing. Only downside is having to wait for the Windows 7 disk, which will mean backing everything up before upgrading. Overall a very good product at a very good price."

"Purchased this laptop for our 17 year old son for xmas with a view to him taking it to university.
I don't know much about laptops but it looks great and he's really pleased with it!

"What can I say....a s*xy little shiny black/blue number when you first get it out of the box...looks very nice.
Performance wise, the spec seems very good for the price. Fast processor coupled with a 1GB Graphics card. Seems pretty whizzy..should be able to handle gaming quite well.
The screen is good and films look bright. There are alot of lights onthe keyboard which look kinda cool. Some of these are linked to touch sensitive controls eg for volume. And the lid has a back lit ACER logo which looks good too.
All in all ...very pleased with this purchase!!!"

"This machine offers budget price with high end features. Fast machine with plenty of memory and large amount of dedicated graphics. It does run simms 3 with ease. It is a little large for portable use and fairly heavy. Set against this are stunning graphics good sound and a solid feel to construction. It has a graduated blue finish and so is not garish. It does however light up blue controls. Comes with Vista, shame. Good machine for the price."
