Good and bad

"Whilst the idea behind the cover is excellent the product is not. There is a serious design flaw with the brass contacts for the light and the security of the Kindle when in the cover. The contacts are fragile and break easily which is what happened to my wife's cover after two days. One of the contacts broke off inside the Kindle but fortunately I was able to extract the contact without damaging the Kindle. The Kindle is actually retained by these brass contacts and they are just not up to the job of holding the Kindle without any other means of security. Argos exchanged the cover with no problems, that was excellent service, and I have added a strip of Velcro to the outside edge of the Kindle and cover which seems to have done the trick as it is now over a week since the problem occurred and the Kindle is still held solidly in place by the Velcro with no signs of the contacts being strained. I consider this item grossly overpriced for what it is. On the plus side the light is excellent."

"Very pleased with this - the light is excellent and means I can read in bed without disturbing husband - case is sturdy - was expensive but used my necter points so made it seem more reasonable - would recommend it - pity they do not do it in other colours"

"I would recommend getting a case for your kindle, it does need protecting, this is a fantastic case I also like the light, great idea when reading in bed. Although I did think it was on the expensive side."
