What a bargain Great cooker, rings heat up almost instantly. Very reasonably priced. Looks good. 01 July 2014
Bush AE66DC Cooker The product arrived on the stated day. It was very easy to install and has worked perfectly since. Only criticism is that we have to place a Pyrex dish below the grill pan to lift it closer to the grill elements to stop the bread going hard when toasting. 04 March 2014
Bush AE66DC This is an excellent cooker in this price range, very simple to operate, easy to clean and has fast reaction on controls. Looks very smart and I am very pleased with it. 13 February 2014
Such a good buy. This cooker has all the great features you would normally find on a more expensive branded name cooker my wife is really pleased with this product, she has commented that the grill takes slightly longer to heat up and the grill pan will not slide in on the top shelf-it is too deep.but over all she is well pleased and so am I. 11 February 2014

My main oven has broken, I have had a local tradesman to look at it, he seems to think it is something to do with the switch, he has been in touch with you directly but is convinced the part you are suggesting is not the correct one and does not wish to purchase an incorrect switch, I feel very disappointed as my oven is a relatively newish model - suggestions please. Please what are the safety zone requirements around and the back of the hob.
I have already had a gas cooker rejected but cannot or understand safety zones.
There is a darkish picture of the zone behind cooker.
The work surfaces are one assumes chipboard with a cover of unknown material. The beading between tiles and work surface is a hard plastic material.
There is a dedicated electrical box for a cooker.
This is housing association property.
It is the upper area above the hob that is worrying

Answer:
Hi, thank you for your question.

I have looked into this for you and the safety zone for cookers is the zone 20 mm side clearance on the lower part of the cooker (oven sides) and then 150 mm each side for the top part of the cooker (above the level of the burners and pan supports). The upper zone extends vertically to either 610 mm above the top of the cooker if it has an eye-level grill, or 760 mm if the highest point is the hob burners."

Thank you for using Question and Answer.
