"I'd been struggling with a cheap sewing machine and decided to treat myself. I have not been disappointed. This sewing machine is simple to use - I haven't tried the needle threading as manual threading is so easy. Fantastic foot-pedal control, which enables you to do quite intricate work. Keep thinking of new sewing projects so I have an excuse to use my new toy."

"Not being an experienced sewer, I struggled with the instruction manual at first trying to thread it. Then I put the dvd on and found it a doddle!
I'm still practising, but it seems great so far"

Great Machine

"My mum and I purchased this machine after reading the reviews posted here and have not been disappointed. The machine was bigger and sturdier than it appeared in the photographs whilst still being very lightweight.
The DVD was helpful when using the machine for the first time but be prepared to hit the pause and rewind buttons quite a few times because the instructions move along very quickly. We also had to get up close to the screen to fully understand the needle threading procedure but once you have got the hang of it, it really does help.
The drop-in bobbin function is excellent and the cover provided is sufficient to keep the machine dust free.
Note that there is a thread cutter on the machine which isn't listed on the specifications so this was a bonus discovery!
The machine itself has sewn through 4 layers of strong denim without any issues and I look forward to using it for many different sewing projects in the future.
