"The machine is really light weight and comes with light plastic dust cover. It comes with a DVD which is really helpful.. What I did to make things easier was put my portable DVD player at the side of the machine so I could keep stopping and starting it. I found the needle threader a bit difficult to understand and thought it was not explained very well, its great now I know how. The thread comes in front of the needle and and round a small hook .
I have practised through all the stitches etc on a piece of material and it all seems very easy to use. Not had time yet to make anything.
Really pleased with it and perfect for me as it has ample stitches and all the attachments that I am likely to want."

"Lightweight, really easy to use. Sewn curtains; turned up trousers in minutes. A true pleasure to work. If you want a reliable machine for every day tasks at a very realistic price then I can highly recommend the Brother 2220NT."

"I am not a great machinist but I was running up a pair of curtains in minutes with this machine. It is so easy to use. Threading the machine is simple and the machine is quiet and smooth.I'm delighted with it and I'm now looking for other projects so that I can use it again."
