BaByliss Curl Secret Hair Curler. 4.4 5 184 187
Curlers Absolutely love it. Quick and easy, works really well on my longish fine hair. Beeping thing is easy once you get used to it. Love my new curlers. 22 July 2014
A "Must Have" product This was not an impulse buy for me, it took me a few months to decide to buy it as it was a bit costly. But it was worth it. My hair is poker straight and shoulder length and no amount of rollers, tongs, wands was able to keep my hair curled for more than a few hours, that was until I used this. It is amazing and easy to use. It gives a consistent spiral curl that lasts me for 2 days. I would definitely recommend this product. 21 July 2014
Gives fantastic long lasting curls Have used only once; curls didn't drop out and lasted until I next washed my hair. Simple to use and I managed to do all around my head on my own. Light weight with no risk of burning yourself as the heated part is inside the appliance. Came with a heat mat, cleaning instrument and a pouch. 15 July 2014
Really quick and easy to use. 15 July 2014
Excellent product I bought this product and was amazed at how easy it was to use. Love my curls it produces - would recommend to everyone go and buy it NOW you won't be disappointed . 15 July 2014

Answer:
Having used this a few times there are settings where you can change the heat and the size/tightness of the curls, my hair doesn't curl very easily or hold curls very long but at the tightest and highest heat my hair will stay curled for 8-10 hours.

Hope that helps!

Answer:
Hi,

Yes, provided the hair is long enough to be placed in the Curl Secret and drawn into the barrel, it is suitable for short hair.

I hope this helps.

I wondered the same thing and came across this explanation.

http://www.thehairdryerdiaries.com/the-curl-secret/

Basically, just a simpler version for home use rather than hairdressers.

What's the extra plastic piece in the box?

I bought this today but can't figure out what the extra piece in the box is. It's a small handle shaped plastic piece with two prongs coming off of it which also have felt jackets around them. I can't figure out what it's for though and neither the booket or Internet seems to mention it..

Answer:
Hi,

I've been advised by the BaByliss Curl Secret Hair Curler's marketing team that it is a cleaning tool. However, it is for the professional perfect curl and is a packaging error. Please don't attempt to use it on the Curl Secret, as it could damage the product.

I hope this helps.

Answer:
I personally feel that they are just covering their own backs as this product has been on the professional market for some time now. I feel this because when I tried it at a trade shop it was difficult to use and simply knotted the hair around the internal barrel and you would likely either pull your extensions out or hurt you. But also remember it has to pull a little as it sucks the hair up. Also when I tried it, it was on a training head that used synthetic hair and did not melt!

Answer:
i have hair extensions and my hair extension technician always uses the salon version of these on mine, so i don't see why the home version would do any damage as surely the salon version would reach hotter temperatures? it can get knotted sometimes so you may have to spend time unpicking your hair from it but this has only happened a couple of times to me. i think babyliss are just covering their backs really.

Answer:
Hi,

Yes, the BaByliss Curl Secret Hair Curler curls small sections of hair at a time, so it would be very easy to section off layered, shoulder-length hair.

I hope this helps.
