"I used an epilator about 15 years ago, which I found painful and inefficient, things have vastly improved since then and this product is fast and efficient at hair removal.
It is not at all painful, only a slight prickly sensation at first which seems to ease off with use. It has 2 speeds so you can take it easy on more sensitive areas like underarms.
I have used it on my upperlip, arms, legs, underarms and bikini line and works well on all types af hair. (It will save a small fortune in waxing costs!)
The power cord is plenty long enough to use with ease, and the light is powerful enough to be able to see the areas to be treated.
I have not used the shaver attachment yet so cannot comment on its performance but everything else about the Braun Silk-Epil 5 is excellent."

"I had epilators before with a different system but this onw is much better, less painful, more precise. the only negative point : the automatic light can be blinding. Happy smooth legs, arm pits, upper lips."
