first curler that worked for me

"over the past year or so because of health reasons my hair has ended up being very weak at the roots and easily snaps, so i found that using a traditional curler would snag and rip the hair at the roots; i also found that styling my hair in anyway could cause problems, but then i discovered this curler and i've got to say that it has worked wonders on my hair.
i can finally do something different with my hair and the best part is that the curls do actually hold well, at least they did for me (hair goes down past bottom of back). given the length of my hair curls never held long in the past and dropped out pretty quick, but with the pearl curler i was able to get a decent set of loose curls, that lasted, and in less then 20 minutes as well, which is a huge upside to this product.
the only down side with this curler is the fact that if your curling hair thats at an awkward angle for you then its harder to do because you need to do it two handed. other than that i've yet to find any other problems with it. the glove that comes with it really does help, it stopped me from scorching my hand; it has a good range of tempurature settings to use; and the barrel of it allows your hair to come out really smooth and silky even if its just been quickly wrapped around it at random.
all in all, a great product to get if you want silky, loose curls, fast."

"I have long thick hair and really wanted the soft, bouncy curls look. I had tried everything from curlers, wrags, other branded heated tongs and even remingtons other curling wand (the one with the barrell thats smaller) and still couldn't find something that could give me the look I wanted. Well, finally I have found what i've been looking for!!! Gives me big bouncy curls (yet not over the top, it gives more of a natural look). Only slightly negative thing is that the curls don't stay in all day BUT i do have long, heavy hair so it doesn't surprise me - a bit of hairspray usually fixes it. Absolutely over the moon with the product, and i've been recommending it to all and sundry."

"I have naturally curly hair and i use this wand to go over my hair when i blow dry it straight to give my hair a bit of volume, texture and waves (and stop the frizz) It's not going to give you 'big curls' as you would imagine you may get from a chunkier curling wand but it does create nice waves and a very very loose curl. Overall i think it gives you a good finish. If you want definitive curls then you would be better off buying the smaller curling wand and you can then either have tight or looser curls as you wish. I didnt find the glove very helpful as i couldnt hold the hair in place with it on when using the wand."
