"if you're cutting your own hair with clippers the main problem is that you don't know if you've missed a bit because you're going in stripes like a lawnmower.
these clippers avoid that problem by letting you go round in circles on the back of your head to cover it all. it works pretty well but the shape of a persons head means that you'll have some small length variances which are noticeable if you're trying to cut a 1 all over. for that reason it's probably most useful if you cut your hair to a 2 or 3.
it comes with little battery clippers for tidying up which are useful, oil for the clippers, some scissors and a comb and a nice carry bag. all decent quality. not bad value and the main unit feels pretty solid.
but you'd still be better off with a good pair of normal clippers if you have someone who is prepared to cut your hair for you."

"My first self cut went well. My hair is fine so at first I thought it was not going to work. Just keep working the back edge against the cut of your hair as instructed things will be fine.
Afterwards you need to use the trimmer to finish of with or without help. On your own you need a "Rear View Mirror"."

"I am very pleased with this product as it cuts my hair in a third of the time it used to take. with my old clippers. I had to get the extension lead out empty the box onto the bed, pick out the parts needed, take it into the bathroom, set it all up ,plug it in, when finished clean it, pack it all back into the box, rewind the extension lead, then clean up all the hair around my ears and shoulders. Now I just pick up my V2 clipper, run it around my head and the jobs almost done, nearly all the cut hair is trapped inside the clippers and it is chopped up very fine making it easy to clean out. my only problem is I have quite a large neck with a crease in it,but with the small moustache trimmer I can use it to finish off quite easily. All done off to the pub now. Edgar."
