lovely morror

"A lovely product - has two socket outlets AND a demister! There is one downside. I had one for about three years then it suddenly packed up. On examination I found both tubes seemed to be burned out. My local electrics shop only had one repplacement tube in stock and when I fitted it the light just wouldn't work though the power to the sockets was still going. I hunted in vain for a starter and even tried bypassing the switch in case that was bust but no joy. So in desperation I ended up buying another mirror as I had all the right screwholes in place and i was glad they were still selling it. When I got it home I found that one of the tubes supplied was broken so I tried it wioth just one and still no joy. As I had a spare tube I fitted that and after some twiddling around with the tubes (the fittings are a bit fiddly)they came on. So my impression is that this only works with TWO tubes. Bear this in mind in case one blows. Otherwise a grerat procuct now I have this bit of extra intelligence."

Beyond expectations

"This mirror was well packed, and had everything necessary for installation in my en-suite bathroom.
I had to cut a second hole in the rear to all the cables, which were already poking through the wall, to enter the back of the mirror casing, but that worked out fine. It is easy to drill a hole through the thin metal.
As mentioned by another reviewer, the mirror comes with a heater grid mounted on the back of the mirror glass. Power to this is supplied when the light is being used, and it is effective it preventing the mirror from becoming steamed up. If it has already been steamed up, it cleared in about 3 minutes when I put the light on.
The shaver socket is on the right hand side toward the top of the casing, which is fine as long as you don't have a bulky adapter to plug into the socket.
Definitely good value for money, and a good solution in most bathrooms in my opinion."

Buy with caution

"My first purchase wasn't finished properly around the edges (there were black marks around the edges where the air had got in). I took it back as this would have got worse over time. I got a replacement, took this home and discovered it had a chip in the glass. So I've given up and will be looking elsewhere!"

A good addition to the bathroom

"The mirror light is an excellent addition to my bathroom and provides illumination to the face and under the chin for shaving ( unlike down lighters which illuminate the top of the head).
Attaching the frame to the wall and the wiring were not a problem. Fastening the mirror into the frame was tricky with hole alignment.
Overall I am very pleased with it"
