This fascinating laser sphere lamp is adaptor operated and changes between colours. "I bought this for my 4 year old as a replacement night light. It's been a massive hit (with her Dad too!) and it offers just enough illumination without being too bright/too dim. Also handy that it has a mains adaptor as the last night light was costing a fortune in batteries. Good value for the money. Have recommended to friends."

"When first turned it on it was lovely we liked it and even my baby enjoyed when it was on.
However we only used it several times and within 2 weeks it wouldnt even switch on. (unfortunately didnt keep the receipt)."

Great nightlight

"I actually bought this as a prop to light up the ceiling at parties, but this isn't big enough to do that. It tries its best, with the plastic top removed, and if you have a white wall and ceiling it illuminates a litlle part of it, but I would say it would be best as a child's nightlight. I would recommend it for that, and the price here is amazing compared to others that I've seen. More novelty, than nightclub/party feature though."
