Good product - replacing the same items bought from Argos 20 years ago! Easy self assembly, looks fine, works well! Bought a pair to use in conservatory - extremes of temperature, but no problems. Would certainly buy again, if required.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Uplighter Floor Lamp - Black: ''Yes this can be adjusted by leaving out one or more of the pole sections. There are five pole sections, each approximately 26.5cm, which could be left out to reduce the height.''

"This plastic lamp shade is not fixed with the plastic cup together so it can be changed as long as the replace shade bottom size matches the top size of the cap."

Any bulb you like that fits the ES socket.
There is a MAXIMUM of 60 watts - and of course with modern LED bulbs you could get a lot brighter than an old 60w filament bulb.
