"this is a great kettle, looks smart, feels well built (the lid has a great seal when closed) and in the hand is well balanced it has an easy grip handle section on the under side.

"This kettle is quite a beast! It is quite large - dwarfed my old one. It may be insulated in some way. Having said that looks really smart and the square base makes it quite compact. Takes some getting used to because the controls are on the base, it beeps when you switch it on, lift it off and when it boils. The temperatures light up as it reaches them up to 100. It switches off when you pick it up, so if warming the tea pot you have to switch it back on again to boil. Boils really fast, so has a bit of noise as it gets going. I don't have a problem with the gauge being under the handle - it is easy enough to see and easy to only boil what you need. I am pleased with it. It is just very different to what am used to!"

"Teriffic kettle. Stylish, robust, well made kettle that boils quickly with a handy thermostat feature allowing you to select the water temperature for say making coffee or children's drinks where it's best not to use boiling water. Definitely the best kettle I have owned."
