"I cannot comment on this kettle at the moment. I collected the kettle on Friday but was away for the weekend. I put my old kettle outside in the dustbin and then have to retrieve it because the on button kept clicking off on the new kettle. It was clicking off without the water coming up to temperature! I am now awaiting for a replacement, which I will not be able to collect until Friday. (It should have been delivered free of charge) for the inconvenience!"

"It is surprisingly light in weight for a metal kettle and appears ro be well made.
It is a quiet boil
The only thing is the indicator does not illuminate only the switch to boil lights up.
Looks good and pours well without any dribbles.
Looks like it will last"

Airfix kit / Prestige Kettle

"This item needs constructing from a number of plastic pieces to form an LTV 4 Buffalo amphibious tracked vehicle complete with Willys jeep. I have not gone ahead with the construction as I consider it unlikely that I will be able to boil water with it. I had hoped to receive a Prestige kettle, which would be more suited to the intended purpose. I live in hope."
