Helped with condensation

"We bought this because of lots of condensation on our bedroom windows each morning. To begin with the dehumidifier was fairly quiet although we couldn't sleep with it on outside our room! Lately it is a lot noisier and a little tape across the tank helps. At first I needed to empty the tank every few days and we couldn't believe the amount of water it collected. Now, several months on, I hardly empty it. We still get a little condensation when it is cold outside but nowhere as much as before and we feel that it is doing a good job clearing excess moisture, especially when the shower has been on etc. Overall we are quite pleased but do wish it was less noisy and had been a little cheaper."

"I already have a dehunidifier that is 20 yrs old.(not a De'longhi), It works really well, quiet, easy to remove and clean the filter and the water collection tank has a nice easy handle that makes it a doddle to remove a full 2ltr load and carry it to any place I choose to tip it away. I decided I could use another for downstairs and leave my current one upstairs. It took me ages to finaly choose the one I thought would be best. Yep, it looks smart, not too heavy and the filter is easy to remove for cleaning. Not that I ever did clean it cos the water collection tank doesn't have any handle so a full tank would not be easy to carry without spilling, that's if you manage to "wiggle" the tank out of the machine and back again, so I took it straight back and got a refund. Wish I had bought two 20yrs ago. They just don't make em like thay used to do. Using sponges down stairs now."

"Bought this dehumidifier model because it appeared to have had good reviews, but the one that I purchased did not work. Returned it and got a cheaper model."
