"We've had a breadmaker for many years but the results were always hit and miss. The Panasonic SD2501 was recommended by a friend and we have had excellent results with all types of bread. Really like the different crust settings which our old machine didn't have. Glad we decided on this model. The end if cooking 'beep' could be louder."

"The breadmaker is fabulous, my only issue is sometimes the paddle comes off in the bread once baked. This is not a big problem hence my 5 stars. The bread is lovely and the recipe book very helpful. I have used the packet bread already made up from the supermarkets as well as following the recipes in the the book, all are lovely finishes."

"excellent performance. End product perfect. Good value for money. Easily cleaned. Can be slightly difficult to get loaf out of tin, but OK if left to cool for 5 minutes"

"The bread maker is fantastic! Makes the best gluten free bread ever! Wish I bought it earlier, its so good I even insured it!! I could not do without it now!! It's easy to use, recipes are good, easy to clean. Thanks Panasonic!!!"

Tasty bread

"I bought this bread maker to replace a 10 year old one with a leaky pan of a different make. I had heard good feedback on the Panasonic and I hoped this would justify the expense over some cheaper brands. Oh it does!
The loaves are large, rise reliably, work first time and taste great. I am diabetic and so I was impressed that I can make a large 100% wholemeal loaf. Also, the best tasting Rye Bread I have every had.
The recipes do not use milk powder as with my previous machine. I have not noticed in terms of taste, but I have noticed that the bread lasts longer.
The only down point is that that timer cannot be set for as long as on my last machine, with a maximum of 13 hours."
