Customer reviews and ratings

Panasonic SD2500 Breadmaker - White. 4.8 5 176 184
An excellent machine This is my second Panasonic breadmaker, bought to replace the first which died a slow and dignified death after giving me wonderful bread for several years. I bought this model, without the automatic fruit/nut additive function, because I rarely used it on my previous machine and thus saved £20 or so. This, as with my previous one, gives perfectly risen bread each and every time. The new non stick coating, compared with my old model, allows the finished loaf to slip out without sticking. 24 February 2015
1st Breadmaker FANTASTIC!! After alot of research I picked this one and have to say over the moon. I no longer buy bread and make my own 50/50 bread for my children and they say its better than shop bought! The loaf sizes are excellent and the hole in the bottom is very minimal. I have also made pizza dough and its also better than any shop bought. I would recommend paying the extra its more than worth it. 24 February 2015
great buy The best thing since sliced bread. Easy to use and perfect bread every time. Also able to bake a great variety of breads and coughs. Highly recommended. 24 February 2015
So far so good Have only baked 3 loaves to date, 2 packet mixes and one homemade from recipe in Panasonic book. All 3 have turned out very well. The bread comes out of the non-stick pan easily and the shape of the mixing paddle means hole left in the bread is minimal. Only drawback so far is the volume of the warning beep to add other ingredients, which you wouldn't hear unless you were in the same room. A bit early to review the reliability but so far so good, certainly an improvement on our previous machine. 18 February 2015

The description reads 2500 but the photo shows 2501. Which model would I get if I buy one from Argos?
Thank you.

Answer:
I can't say I have come across this problem but then I never use just wholemeal flour as it makes a heavier loaf. I usually do half strong white & half wholemeal and the crust is just fine.
