"i had a breville before, when you filled it you had to pinch open the filler, then it broke, so i thought should i have another breville? but i went for it, this one is better in filling just tap the top and it opens, no problems so far and hope it lasts more than 2 years as the last one did"

"I bought this Beville kettle as last one lasted over 2 years. I thought being all plastic would save from any leaking problems around water gauge etc but didn't anticipate it furring up every use with limescale. My other kettles never did this so can't be the 'water' as we are not a hard water area! Think it is something to do with the plastic used. not happy.........."

"My old kettle was leaking after 8 years. It was a Breville so I thot I shd buy the same brand. I am very pleased as it is quick boil with min 2 cups only. Fairly quiet with blue luminous light. I know some other customers complained about the small lid but it's fine with me as I just use the spout straight from the tap. Light to use and easy to pour. Handle is also ergonomic! Brilliant purchase!"

"After my old kettle just got OLD after 8 years of continual use by me and my 4 children was time to buy a new one (old one was a breville as well)
opted for this one as was closest to old one, and priced well.
works well , fast boil and easy pour no spill spout.
hope it last as long as other one.
