"it looked good...but quite a disappointment...the lid was flimsy..which snapped just as it opened. the side 'handles' aern't 'grippable' and its actually quite bulky when pouring the oil out."

"The Tardis is small on the outsiode and huge inside right? well this is the opposite.. big outer, tiny basket ;-)

Basket inside is pretty small so cant cook larger amounts of food.
Lid pops up very fast so watch that when hot oil is inside.
Window can sometimes get condensation on it when frozen food first goes in.

I would recommend it to a friend that had a small family and room to store the fryer ( its quite large as most fryers are ).
The lid didnt seem to close tight on the one I bought, wasnt a big enough problem for me to lug it back to argos, not great quality if its shut tighter on one side than the other, hot steam doesnt come out though it so its just a small flaw in the manufacturing.
Warning - it says it has a cool exterior but the sides stay pretty hot during cooking and for some time afterwards.
Everything ive cooked in it has turned out well so far, another tip with all deep fat fryers is keep an eye on the food!! Easily overcook within a matter of minutes."
