good product but is more like a kettle!

"bought this as a replacement for my quick cup. if you haven't had a quick cup then this product will be great, if you have you will feel a little let down as this takes about 40 sec to boil 1 cup & will only do 2 cups in a row then you have to wait (presumable for it to cool down) lid is annoying so i take whole lid off to refill using a jug rather than lifting the whole water unit, filter is easy to replace but when you fill with water you can only fill 1 cup at a time as you have to wait for the water to slowly filter before you can make a cupa so i keep it topped up this saves time when i'm in a hurry. you can vary the amount of water and has a stop button . i have got used to this product but i do greatly miss my quick cup!!"

"This item is ideal if only one cup is needed more than a couple, even then its still good and the water is red hot. The tea tastes much better and it takes seconds to boil.. So good my daughter got one as well.."

"Really was looking to buy a standard water filter but saw this on the Argos website and thought i would pay the extra for this instead. It proved to be a good decision I am so pleased with this one and would say if you are looking to buy one get this."

"We had one of these for 9 months and used it loads, after this time cup size dial on top came off completely so i retured it for a replacement under the 12 months guarantee, we like the item so much we still had it replaced though so this says it all i guess!!"

Brilliant piece of kit

"Having a water filter and hot water dispenser in one is absolutely brilliant! We live in a really hard water area and there was always "scum" on the surface despite having a kettle with a filter pourer. We were going to by a water filter jug and a new kettle but opted for this instead.
Really simple to operate; the water is boiling hot; dispenses in less than 30 seconds.
Although it has different cup sizes, we just have it on the maximum one as most of our mugs are large, but for the smaller ones, you just press the stop button.
We use an empty 50cl water bottle refilled with tap water to top up the "tank" which we found was easier than using a jug.
We're pretty sure its saving us £'s in electricity cost too.
The really best bit is how quick it dispenses really hot water. Press the button and by the time you've got the milk from the fridge, the mug is full!"
