"Wonderful pourer and quick boil for so much water. Husband thought it was a bit noisy but I found it completely acceptable ~ you are boiling water after all! Lid mechanism works perfectly which is a very welcome change after our last kettle. Nice blue light. This is the first time I've had a Cookworks item but it definitely won't be the last. Very impressed!"

Very good buy

"When my last kettle went bang I only wanted something fairly cheep as I'm getting a new kitchen in the near future. This has been a great buy. With a button on top to realease the lid if fills easy, boils quickly and poors well, much better than my last retro style and more expensive kettle which spluttered everwhere when you tried to poor from it when just boiled. This one is stainless steel and looks and feels of good quality. I have to say mine isn't as it looks on the picture but I was told this when I went to pick it up and it also says in the catalogue that there may be a variation to the description in the book. Having said that though, I think the one I have looks better than the picture, looking more like the conventional style jug kettle . Blue light is a nice little touch."

"Bought this kettle as a replacement for a much more expensive one which I hadn't had long before it stopped working. Pleased with this one, quick boil, easy to fill, brushed steel is easy to wipe down and remove marks from."
