"I bought this because it had similar overall dimensions to an old grill which no longer worked. The description of this grill referred to 3 portions, but the actual grill plate was minuscule, about big enough for one decent-size portion.
Beware of anything with "compact" in its name.
On the old machine, the grill plates came right out to the edges, but not on this one."

"Bought as a replacement for one we had had for many years and returned it. Did not match up to the old one in any way. Much smaller in cooking area and did not reach a sufficient temperature to cook items in the time denoted on the instruction/recipe booklet. Very disappointed. Only good point was the detachable plates for easy cleaning."
