"Makes excellent bread on normal settings.good dough ,fast bake bread not so hot very dense and heavy,although it does tell you this in ths booklet. Apart from that excellent value for the money. This is the best out of the three others I have owned."

"Went for a mid priced maker. Friend had a different one but had enthused about home made bread. I made a cake first which was a bit dry but might have been my fault. The first loaf was a wheaten one, half wholemeal and half white, which turned out very well altho taking a while to do, over 3 hours. Will try a white one next. You have to be very careful in the measurements, even water has to be weighed rather than measured and everything in order, wet things first, then lastly flour and yeast. You have to make sure that the tin is well seated and clicked in placed or it clatters about and doesnt mix (my fault on first use). The cake needed a helping hand to mix, but the loaf worked well. 750g loaf is big enough for one or two as it might not keep as well as shop bought, but who cares. Lovely toast."

"I have used various makes of bread machine over the years and I can honestly say this Russell Hobbs makes the best bread so far. It is also much easier to wash as the non stick coating seems to really work."

"Bought this to replace an old cookworks model.
Have only used it once so far but it made a good loaf. I did think the recipe called for too much yeast compared to the amount I have been using in my old machine so I might cut down a little next time."
