A bit disappointing I bought this on the strength of the brand as well as the power rating of the motor, with the intention of making smoothies. It seems that the blades are too small to cope with fruit as they whizzed around but had little effect unless you really shook the machine. Plus it was pretty useless at crushing the ice. Overall disappointing I'm sorry to say. 26 March 2013

Good Does its job well, although after many uses, the bits of frozen blueberries cant be blended finely anymore, but doesnt matter. Very happy with this purchase! 03 March 2013

I had to take this blender back. The plastic jug smealt so strongly of plastic that when you made a smoothie in it the drink tasted funny. I tried all sorts of things to try and get rid of the smell but nothing worked. 19 February 2013
