Rated 4 out of 5 by Works well. The only drawback is the baskets are numbered 1-3 and they have to be in that order to fit! Which means you have to check the numbers first. Not keen on the fact you can remove the bottom of the baskets. Works well though. 18 August 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by +) Excellent product, cooks quickly and efficiently. Requires few times to fully learn its usage times, but it is typical for any electronics. +) No need to stir. Sound alert at the end of cooking. +) Tastier meals with more vitamins. -) I consider having to remove bottoms of the oval bowls a bother (unlike VC135215), but it is expected, as the bowls are bigger 11 August 2015

Answer:
Hi there,

I can confirm that the time it takes to steam something would depend on what food it was and how much you're using.

The instruction manual included gives estimates for how long an item should take to steam.

For example - 400g of broccoli should take approximately 21-26 minutes.

I hope this helps and thanks for using Argos Q&A.

Answer:
Hi,

I have checked the instructional manual and lentils and pulses are not listed in the table of cooking times.

I have checked on the internet and there is some information on how you can cook lentils and pulses in a slow cooker. Please check this out before you make a decision for the suitability of this for your needs.

Thank you for using Question and Answer.
