Great toaster Read all the reviews and I'm very pleased I paid a little extra for this toaster. Had to replace my Morphy Richards Cream toaster as it was useless and broke after 6 months (so did my matching kettle). This toaster actually toasts both sides and fits a full size Warbutons slice no problems. Quicker than my old toaster, can toast 2 or 4 slices at a time (just use the left slots for 2). A good slimline 4 slice toaster, nice shine to the steel. Very happy customer!!! 29 January 2013

Only one lever for all 4 slots I didn't notice this before buying, but most other 4-slice toasters have one lever for each double slot, whereas this one only has one. So you can't add extra toast during the process, or cancel (or defrost) just two pieces of toast instead of four. Pity as it's a good quality product - my last toaster was the same model but it had 2 levers. Looks like a design fault. Unfortunately I had to return this. 17 January 2013

Great product Looks contemporary and smart Efficient 15 January 2013

Replaces Classic Model 10 years old This is my second Russell Hobbs Classic Toaster it replaces my old one which lasted nearly 10 years. Its not as heavy duty as the old one probably about 1/3 lighter but seems to be well made. The reason I have replaced it with the same model is I know it takes the larger Warbutton bread slices which not many of the toasters I checked out do.....so if this one lasts another 10 years I'll be delighted..... 14 November 2012
