Adam iRad 1kW Panel Heater. 4.5 5 42 43
Very Useful. I prefer using this to central heating. So, it makes economic sense to buy panel heaters. Also, this item adds a nice touch to any room. 13 May 2014
A very stylish design gives this heater the look of something more expensive. A compact but powerful heater, capable of warming a 14x12 room economically. I will be purchasing another for my conservatory. Highly recommend. 23 March 2014
Looks great and does the job Very slimline, nice black gloss finish and easily wall mountable. Simple to use with just the 2 heat settings. Heats up our medium sized room within half an hour on full (1000KW) and then heat is maintained on half power (500kw). Great product! 19 March 2014
Great item Great item, not the most powerful heater but more than enough with great looks, will be buying a second soon. 26 February 2014
style and function This a very good looking heater and it works very well as an additional heat source in our open plan home. 21 February 2014

We have inherited two of these heaters in a flat we have purchased. Each has a shelf above them with aheat deflecting plate. Is this safe?

Answer:
It may appear safe but heat rises so your heat with these plates is being contained underneath. These heaters are meant to warm the air and the heat is being forced out when these are used. I have used radiator shelves and found the air warmed better without them. It can be trial and error but it is similar to sticking clothes on a radiator to dry. Dry they will but the room will not warm properly. Do not recommend.

can this heater be mounted so it is 70 high and 43 wide so it will fit on a tall narrow wall, also if the wall is only made of thin plywood will I need to put a heat reflective screen in between the plywood and the rear of the heater

Answer:
Yes, can be wall mounted it stands about 16 1/2 inches high x 27 inches width or length wise x depth of around 1 and three quarter inches. Not sure about mounting onto plywood or the heat reflective screen as I am not a builder. Perhaps customer services may be able to answer on these two points.
