Dimplex Chico Eco 0.7kW Mini Oil Free Radiator. 4.6 5 68 69
Excellent Very pleased with how quickly our occassionally used small bedroom was heated, only 5 minutes and room was lovely at only halfway point on thermostat so turned it down for background heat. Felt sturdy too so not easy to knock over and took up very little space. 08 May 2015
Very handy It has been little great heater for me, light to carry around, when heat up first time make sure you keep it somewhere with open window get working, afterwards it's perfect. 27 March 2015
this product is really for a very small room This radiator is good for warming your hands rather than heating a room.I am not entirely satisfied with it and am considering returning it for a larger one by the same company which happens to give twice the heat but is the same price. 17 February 2015
Good Buy I am over the moon with this product.I have a small to average bedroom which never gets any sun so can be very cold in Winter.Maximum power for about 1 hour then turn it down to near minimum heats my room very well. With low running cost this is well worth the money.Would recommend. 12 February 2015
Tidy little number \not had this heater long but it seems to be performing adequately. 08 January 2015

Answer:
Hi Kath,

Dimplex advises that its heaters and radiators can be used in most places provided they are not damp. For this reason I wouldn't advise using it to try damp clothes or towels in an enclosed space.

I hope this helps!

Answer:
Hi,

I have checked the instructional manual and the advice is not to use the heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, shower or a swimming pool.

Thank you for using Question and Answer.

Is the heat setting variable?

1 year, 7 months ago
The product details say "1 heat setting" but there appears to be a variable heat control.
Does that heat control knob reduce the heat output proportionally from maximum as you turn it down towards minimum (in other words is there a continuous Rheostat)?
Or,
Between Max and min does it click on and off with a thermostat setting (increasingly OFF as you approach Minimum) ?
Or:
does it only heat at 700watts maximum setting and OFF (zero watts) at minimum setting, with no variation in between?

Answer:
Hi John,
This has a variable thermostat, meaning that you can set the temperature which triggers the unit to come on. The output however is one setting, and the temperature it gives out is not variable.
Hope this helps.
