Not good! Bought this for my dad for his shed. He tried it out in the kitchen first. Was going for 5 minutes then nothing! Bought a cheaper model and different make. Works perfect! 02 April 2013

Disappointing I bought this based upon the recommendations of others who had purchased from Argos but after trying it for an hour it was back in the box and returned to the store for a refund. It pushed out less heat than the 20 year old 1kW ceramic heater I had been using before. Completely inadequate for heating anything like my garage - I imagine it would struggle with a small potting shed. It might work OK in a small room in a house but for anything more challenging forget it - 3kW sounds like a powerful heater but although it may use that much electricity you don't get much benefit from it. Avoid this heater if you want something with a decent output. And if you're not bothered there are MUCH cheaper alternatives. The old adage "you get what you pay for" doesn't apply here. 12 February 2013
