Dimplex Eco OFRC15C 1.5kW Oil Free Column Radiator. 4.6 5 152 165
Great product and easy to use I bought this to use by my front door that my central heating doesn't make quite warm enough (the rest of the house is lovely and warm). Does a great job and the radiator heats itself up fairly quickly. 04 March 2015
Does the job Thoroughly recommend this product. 03 March 2015
The product which I've bouh#ght from argos was so Im actually happy with all over the service as well 20 February 2015
Radiator The radiator is good, don't increase a lot the bill and for one bedroom I think is more than enough, I'm very happy with this item 19 February 2015
Dimplex Eco 0FRC15C 1.5kW Oil Free Column Radiator I already own one of these heaters from 4 years ago and wanted another one for a family member's room to supplement the gas central heating in our home, which is a cold, draughty, newish build. This heater is A* and provides warmth all-round. With adjustable heat settings, you can enjoy a pleasant atmosphere, to a hot summer's day! It is economical to run as I have to budget. I would definitely recommend it and it is easily assembled in minutes. My previous one still works as from day one! 17 February 2015

I need the radiator to fit into a small space for storage when not in use so I would prefer not to use the wheels.

Answer:
Hi there,

This radiator must only be operated with the wheels and castors fitted and in the upright position. The clearance space is irrelevant as long as the unit is not covered, obstructed or positioned near any furniture.

Thanks for using Argos Q&A.

Answer:
The wheels are attached to two metal bars which are at right angles to the heater. They are quickly screwed on underneath using wing nuts. These could easily be removed when not in use but for portability and safety would probably need to be attached when in use.

Answer:
I install the wheels on mind because I want to move it around my studio, but if I was leaving it in one place then I would have left the wheels off, as long as the floor area was flat so that it did not tip over, then you should be okay.

Answer:
I would suggest looking at wall mounted oil filled radiators. They need to be mounted more than 60cm away from any bath, shower, basin or loo and controls be protected from dripping water. You shouldn't have mains switches in a bathroom (usually controlled by pull-cords inside, or switches outside, bathroom) so would need to be permanently installed.

Ideally, consult a qualified electrician, as I believe a bathroom installation falls within Part P of the building regulations.
