Dimplex DXUF30T 3kW Upright Fan Heater. 4.2 5 117 138
Dimplex DXUF30T 3kW Upright Fan Heater Good little fan heater. very powerful for its size and can quickly heat a big room. 09 September 2014
this heated up the awning in our caravan a treat. 03 September 2014
great heater It's too soon to put the heating on yet but with the chilly evenings we need warmth. This heater is great for taking the chill off the living room whilst we are watching the television. Would highly recommend. 26 August 2014
ideal compact heater for instant warmth An ideal heater that will warm up any room quickly and quietly. This was bought when our boiler had broken and we were without heat for over a week. Compared to other heaters it is quiet, compact and although it does cut out it only does this when it reaches the high temperature then it will automatically come back on. My only criticism is that it has a short cable length. Overall very pleased. 20 February 2014
Good quality efficient fan. I looked at a few different fans and this one was the best. Very good quality, heats the room really quickly and has a thermostat cut out feature once up to required temperature. Would definitely recommend, very please with my choice. 19 February 2014

Answer:
Thank you for your query regarding the cost of running the Dimplex DXUF30T 3kW Upright Fan Heater.

Without defining what is considered to be expensive and without knowing personal information such as your energy provider?s tariffs and so on, I cannot give accurate information regarding this. The manufacturer advises to calculate its cost in this way:

Energy input (kW) X pence per kWh = approximate running cost per hour

Costs will also be affected by the size of the space in which it is to be used and how well insulated that space is already, as well as how long it would be run for. The product does have different heat settings, which will vary this, depending on the setting it is put on. However, thermostatic controls regulate its heat and energy use, which will help minimise its overall energy use though.

Thank you for using Argos Q&A.

Answer:
I haven't noticed an enormous hike in the energy bills but what I have found is it warms the room up extremely fast so you find yourself switching it off for a while anyway. I would give it a go if I were you because it is a good product and as I say you have control and the heating up is really fast as opposed to central heating which can take its time.

Answer:
It's about 1.5 metres - admittedly not the longest cable in the world but it depends where you want to put the heater. Hope this helps.
