Design flaw?

"The optiflame effect kept popping out of the turning mechanism (after just a few days) so rather than send it back I fixed it myself by adding a few washers onto the spindle which seems to have done the trick. Makes me wonder whether this is a design flaw or just that I bought a dud. The fire looks good though and heats the room effectively when needed."

We love this heater..

"We love this heater :) & it arrived here at just the right time. Dad was due out of hospital & the snow was very deep outside, our oil was getting scarily low and looked like it wasn't coming. This fire was much needed and it gives out good heat, it really flows the heat around the room & it looks cute.

"Lovely to look at, especially when you just have the flame effect on. I have had other stove fires in the past but this one looks the most authentic. Heat is great and has 2 settings. Only negative thing is the fire can be quite noisy, just the sound of the fan. Not a huge annoyance though. The remote control is a fabulous feature though! Fire at your fingertips!!"

Great sturdy Fire

"So pleased with this fire. Have no gas or other heating in our house so use this as our main heat source in front room. It gives out plenty of heat, looks good and is sturdy enough to stand its ground with our 15 month old. It was packaged with a plastic tag around the door knobs, we left this on so the door couldnt be opened by little fingers. The remote only turns the fire on or off but still saves bending down. Would recommend to anyone, cant think of anything bad to say about it."
