"As usual such a superb product, we have used our previous dyson for the last 20 years and it has given excellent service, as we are both now retired we needed something lighter and more manageable so when we saw the new deal of 20% part exchange we knew the time was right.
There was still life in the old but the new is so much lighter and the quality is excellent."

Handy Small Vacuum

"Purchased to replace an earlier Dyson model, this is admirable light, quiet and fairly easy to use. The ball design seems to be less successful on this kind of machine, than it is when applied to an upright vacuum cleaner. It has a tendency to topple and needs care when used on stairs. Nevertheless, it is a good machine for older people as it is undeniably light and handy. It is also well made: recommended."

Great little vac!

"I bought this small Dyson to use upstairs. I needed a vacuum small enough to fit into the bottom of a wardrobe for storage and this one is just right, packs away neatly. I own a 'Dyson animal' which I am very pleased with but this DC38 is not quite as powerful as my big Dyson. If you have animals and carpets, I would recommend buying the rotary brush head for this model because it makes a great deal of difference to its cleaning power."

A thoughtful vacuum cleaner

"There is a lot of thought in this product, from the click and go attachments to the easy to open dust collector. However, the most revolutionary feature is the motor, which spins at an unbelievable 100,000 rpm, thanks to an electronic replacement to carbon brushes. The dust shrinks to a tiny volume so that you need but a small dust collector, making the cleaner small, light and easy to carry about. I look forward to Dyson lawnmowers and power tools. They won't be cheap of course."
