"Very heavy so if you have back, shoulder or arm problems, not the one for you. Also difficult to use the hose on the stairs needs a lot of strength. But a very good cleaner does exactly what it says on the box. On ever brought Vax cleaners and like it, but next time will go back to the cylinder not the upright"

Disappointment

"I had a limited budget and bought what I thought was a good hoover. I am really disappointed because there are more negatives than positives with this product. It is very noisey, the controls for altering the brush height are difficult to use, it easily over balances when you use the tools and the extension pipes are too short so even as a 'short' person it wrecks your back! It is however powerful and the instructions for putting it together were good because my 11yr old son did it for me. Wish I had bought another Dyson but was too poor to do so :("

"First you have to build the vacuum!
First the negatives....
It's quite heavy & boy is it noisy.
It has a heck of a lot of suck. Our dog doesn't shed much hair, but the large ball of fluff whizzing around the cylinder proved that our previous vacuum wasn't getting all the hair out of the carpet pile as efficiently as the Vax Power 9 U89-P9-P Pets Bagless could."

I like my new Vax!

"It took about 20 mins to assemble using the easy to follow instructions. It works very efficiently and easily out performs my old Dyson which unfortunately appear to have been left behind these days in my opinion. It is very powerful, and the tools pack neatly and are very easy to access. The Turbo tool holder just slides on the handle-it needs to be pointed out as it doesn't say so in in the book! It's not even about the price-it really does work well and you will notice the difference after using it. I wasn't disappointed and this comes from someone who hates Hoovering normally! This is my first Vax and i've named her Ruby."
