Product description / spec

pdp_proddesc2colleft

Dyson DC35 has twice the suction power of any other lightweight cordless vacuum in use. It is a Dyson cordless vacuum cleaner and has been designed for effective cleaning of every floor type. Its power comes from the Dyson digital motor at its heart, which spins up to three times faster than conventional electric motors.

The motorised floor tool on DC35 has ultra-fine conductive carbon fibre brushes that remove fine dust from hard floors, as well as rotating nylon brushes that agitate carpet pile to dislodge ground-in dirt. The lightweight wand reaches high, low and into awkward gaps. The wand is detachable - remove it and you can use DC35 as a handheld for cleaning up spills. DC35 has Root Cyclone technology, so it doesnt lose suction as you clean. The 22.2V lithium-ion battery doesnt fade during use and recharges up to three times faster than others. The bin also empties hygienically - just push the button to release the dirt.

  • 15 mins running time on full charge.
  • Low battery indicator.
  • Variable power.
  • Total capacity 0.4 litre.

Dyson DC35 Digital Slim Handheld Vacuum Cleaner. 4.6 5 2042 2058
this product exactly as described this product is very good only problem I find is having to hold finger on the switch continually while using it makes your fingers ache as I have slight arthritis in my fingers. Probably fine for a younger person to use. 24 January 2015
Brilliant Excellent product, I was going to buy the cheaper model without the wand, but so glad I purchased this model. It means you don't have to get the big hoover out all the time. Very good suction and good battery life, I even find myself looking for things to hoover up, as its so good. 23 January 2015
Brilliant This is my new best friend 22 January 2015
5 minute battery life, constant holding button So this lasted 5 minutes, after charging overnight the first use lasted 5 minutes before the battery gave up. The power button has to held down constantly, there is no lock which is just a pain. 22 January 2015
Fabulous I love my new Hoover. Much easier to use than my old cumbersome Dyson. The new digital slim is so versatile and light. Into the bargain I received a free tool kit with it. Brilliant! 22 January 2015

Answer:
Hi, thank you for your question.

I have looked into your query and I can confirm that the on/off button does not need to be pressed continually to allow the vacuum to work. You can press the switch once and it will stay on and then switch it again and it will turn off.

Thank you for using Argos Q&A.
