"Very satisfied with this carpet cleaner. Easy to use, and leaves carpets "just damp" and they dry within a couple of hours in this nice weather. The unit is not too heavy to push, perhaps heavier than a conventional vacuum cleaner, but very manageable. The upholstery tool is useful for "cutting in" the edges of the carpet or where the edge is masked by a radiator. I think the product would benefit from capacity markings on the "clean water" tank and some guidance on the litre/sq metre coverage of the mixed solution."

"This is a great piece of kit, very easy to assemble you only have to attach the handle and that is simplicity

The machine is quite big but not to heavy in use, we tested it a few days after we purchased it on a area of carpet that gets a lot of traffic, it did a great cleaning job and left the carpet almost dry.
We have hired the rug doctor several times and the VAX does an equal job to that, and you don’t have to supply your family tree to hire it.
I agree with a previous review about VAX supplying a measure for the carpet cleaning solution it would be handy.
All in all a very good product at a very reasonable price, I highly recommend it, if your in the market for a carpet cleaner get one."

"I had a good look round the the internet and the Vax W90-RU-B seemed to have a good reputation.
It did not take long to assemble out of the box, just the handle needed a good shove for it to lock into place other than that fine.
Very easy to use and does a good job quickly cleaning the carpets without having to constantly run over it. I used the attachment to do the stairs, it did take a short while to get used to how it sprayed the solution, but once I got the hang of it, it was very easy.
Only two points that let it down, refilling the container can be a bit tricky and messy but a cheap plastic funnel sorts that out. The other is on a new or not used very oftern peice of carpet the small holes for sucking up the dirty liquid from the carpet can get blocked with fluff.
All said and done it is a good carpet clearner leaving the carpets good and clean."
